ABSTRACT
 Objective: Neonatal jaundice is characterized by a yellowish coloration of the skin and sclera newborn infants elevated serum bilirubin levels.
 In this study, it was aimed to evaluate knowledge, practices attitudes primigravidas in Diyala province Iraq regarding neonatal jaundice.
 Material Methods: A questionnaire applied 165 women who were between January 1, 2022 March 31, hospitals health centers their about Results: Although 71.4% knew two signs jaundice, 78.8% them did not know any dangerous jaundice. 28.4% that there are effective treatment methods for 57.6% aware severe complications Conclusion: Most primigravida study decided visit physicians when babies have without using traditional treatment.
